Monday in the making
This week I have been working on something new...
These keyrings are part of the 'Tupsy Tee' range of 'Tupsy Turvy Designs' as they are made out of up-cycled t-shirts. Some have a letter stitched in the middle to add a personalised touch. They have a bit of a rustic and 'College' feel about them. With the other design, I have a circular, fabric flower stitched in the middle with a button embellishment. These keyrings are now available in the Tupsy Turvy Designs store and will also be available at the 'Bubs 2 Teens' market that I will be attending on the 26th January.

Monday - in the making
Today was hot...
I mean scorching hot, blazing sun, 40 plus degrees centigrade. It is not very often that I experience a scorching, Australian, summer day like this as where I live, we may have the odd one or two 'hot' days, but nothing so searing.
What I do like about these hot, summer days (providing that I am in a cool, air conditioned place) is that you can't do much, particularly outside as it is too hot. This means time spent crafting...which I did. Here is the result...
I love the combination of purple and bright green.
So it ended up being a perfect summer day, although the one thing that may have improved it would be to have the cricket on TV, in the background at the same time. Got to love summer!

Friday Thoughts - Around the corner
It is getting closer... in fact just around the corner. What am I thinking about? It's Christmas! I know that it is still October and that we have a number of weeks left, but the year just seems to be flying and it will be Christmas before we know it. So I am in the process of keeping my eyes open for special little somethings to give to special people. One place to source such goodies (of course) is MadeIt, where there are heaps of talented people that have a number of carefully crafted items up for sale (check out the buttons on the side for more information).
I am also in full swing making some little items that would be perfect to pop in a stocking, or can be easily posted.
One such work in progress is this colourful key ring - carefully handcrafted out of felt and fabric and embellished with a button. This one won't take me long to finish off and will be ready to purchase to pop in a card or stocking for someone special.
I have more gift ideas and plans in the pipeline and will be revealed soon...
